After a rocky start.... we were half way to Pismo to visit Aunt Dee Dee and Doug got called into work so we had to turn around. Eventually, we made it! The weather was amazing and the kids had a fab time with Aunt Dee Dee, of course.We went to the beach on Friday evening. Landen was a crack up... the water was flippin' freezing, but he was dancing around in his undies. They built a sand castle with Dee Dee, although Landen preferred crushing the sand castle with his feet.

It looks like you had so much fun. I'd so glad that Doug was able to make it. There is nothing better than a family vacation!
